AMI Passport Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 26, 2026
AMI Passport is operated by Amidnd INC. This policy explains how we handle information when you use amipassport.com and your AMI Passport. Contact us at amidnd@pm.me with privacy questions or requests.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide or that is supplied through your Passport purchase, including your name, email address, phone number if provided, and customer or purchase reference. Existing customer information may be transferred from our sales system to operate your Passport.
We maintain your Passport status, activation and expiration dates, and redemption records, including the merchant, perk, redemption time, and confirmation reference. We also receive information you send when contacting support.
Our hosting and authentication providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, and security logs to deliver and protect the service. Browser storage keeps you signed in and remembers features such as saved merchants. Clearing browser storage may sign you out or remove locally saved preferences.
Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides basic account information, which may include your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier. We use that information to authenticate you and connect you with the Passport associated with your email address. Our authentication provider stores account information needed for that connection.
Google sign-in does not give AMI Passport access to your Gmail messages, contacts, or Google Drive files. We do not sell Google account information or use it for advertising. Our use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
How we use and share information
We use information to manage accounts and Passport eligibility, process and record redemptions, send requested sign-in codes and service communications, answer support requests, handle refunds, and prevent misuse.
Service providers process information needed to operate these functions. These include Supabase for authentication and data storage, Render for website hosting, and our email service provider for delivering sign-in messages. Google processes information when you choose Google sign-in. Payment providers separately process purchases and refunds under their own policies.
When you show your Passport or redemption confirmation to a merchant, that merchant can see the information displayed on that screen. Merchant websites, maps, and other external links are governed by their own privacy practices. We may also disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or protect legal rights.
Retention, security, and your choices
We retain information while needed to operate your Passport, resolve support or refund requests, prevent misuse, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. Information no longer needed is deleted or de-identified; backup copies may remain until the applicable backup cycle completes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing amidnd@pm.me. We may verify your identity before acting. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or unresolved transactions. Deleting information needed to verify your Passport may prevent continued use of it.
You can remove AMI Passport's Google connection in your Google Account settings. This stops future authorized Google access but does not itself delete information already held by AMI Passport; contact us to request deletion. Email-code sign-in remains an alternative when available for your customer account.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand visitor numbers, traffic sources, device types, page views, and use of features such as sign-in, merchant profiles, maps, and redemption. Google Analytics uses cookies and browser identifiers to measure visits. We do not send customer names, emails, phone numbers, login codes, merchant redemption codes, Passport numbers, or precise device location to Google Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.
Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can also opt out of analytics for this browser below; this does not affect your Passport.
